Aim
This qualification is regarded as the first year of vocationally oriented education for students interested in pursuing a career in business. Further study in the Level 6 Diploma or at degree level is recommended to consolidate the graduate's business understanding and provide a good range of choices in future career options.
Entry Requirements
A general academic qualification to the equivalent level of 6 th Form Certificate in 4 subjects in New Zealand or aged 20 years or more with relevant work experience.
Edenz Colleges Foundation Studies in Business or Foundation Studies in Computing, or equivalent or higher.
An Academic IELTS or ESC overall band score of 5.5 or an English proficiency equivalent.

- With an IELTS of 5.5 (or TOEFL equivalent) – you gain direct entry into the Diploma (Level 5).
- You also need a High school / Year 12 pass in at least 4 academic subjects or age 20 with relevant work experience.
If you do not yet have an IELTS (or TOEFL equivalent) we advise that you look for an IELTS testing center near you, and book a test there. You must show an IELTS or similar score before we can apply for a place on the Diploma and student visa.
