Olé Languages is dedicated to teaching Spanish as a foreign language in an open, personal an enjoyable atmosphere. We offer Spanish courses for all levels to competitive prices taught by dedicated, highly qualified native Spanish speakers.

There are many good reasons to study Spanish at Olé. First and most importantly, all teachers who teach at Olé are highly qualified, native Spanish speakers. They are experienced and dedicated people who see teaching Spanish as more than just a job - teaching is their vocation.
Secondly, with a maximum of eight people per class the study groups at Olé are smaller than in most other schools and small classes are an important prerequisite for an intensive and successful learning experience.
Thirdly, the school’s manageable size (between 100 to 150 students at a time) allows for a personal and at the same time international atmosphere. It gives both, teachers and office staff the possibility to respond fast and flexibly to any queries and questions students may have.
And last but not least, Olé is located in the center of Barcelona, a thriving Mediterranean city with a vivid cultural and night life, a stunning historic center, and beautiful beaches.

Course Options
Olé Languages offers four types of courses with 4 to 25 hours per week. New courses for all levels start every week on Monday. Students choose the type of course freely and have the option to stay any period of time between one week and one year. All classes are kept to a maximum of eight students (the average number of students per class is five).

1. Intensive Course
- 20 hrs per week
- 5 days from Monday to Friday
- 4 hrs per day
- 9:30h to 13:30h or 14:30h to 18:30h
The intensive course is designed for both, beginners and advanced learners who want to advance their Spanish language skills fast and methodically. The course focuses on Spanish grammar, oral and written communication skills.

2. Intensive Course + Conversation
- 25 hrs per week
- 5 days a week from Monday to Friday
- 5 hrs per day (4hrs grammatic, listening,
reading + 1 hr practicing conversation)
- 9:30h to 13:30h + 13:30h to 14:30 or
- 13:30h to 14:30h + 14:30h to 18:30h
This highly intensive course is designed for students who already have a basic command of Spanish. During four hours every day the students join the regular intensive course to improve their grammatical, oral, writing and listening skills. In addition to the four-hour intensive course the students then practice their communication skills in small groups between two to five people under the guidance of a teacher.

3. Semi-Intensive Courses
- 10 hrs per week
- 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
- 2 hrs per day
- 9:30h to 11:30h or 14:30h to 16:30h
The semi-intensive course teaches the students as much grammar as the intensive course but the students have less supervised exercise time and work more self-dependently on revising the learned material.

4. Evening Courses
The evening courses are specifically tailored to professionals who seek to combine their job schedule with studying Spanish in a relaxed and enjoyful atmosphere.

Accomodation
Students may choose between a flat share with other students or a Spanish host family. Both, flats and family homes are located close to the school in safe areas close to the city center and are equipped with all amenities.

The School
The Student Profile People arrive from all over the world to study Spanish at Olé. They come from Brazil, France, Canada, Denmark, Japan, Italy, Germany, China, Switzerland and many other corners of the globe. The large majority is between 20 and 35 years old and their reasons to study Spanish are as varied as their counrties of origin. Some wish to add another language to their curriculum, others simply love the Spanish language and culture and want to fulfil their dream, and again others plan to move to Spain or a Spanish speaking country.

The Teachers The co-founder of Olé Languages and headteacher, Rosa Ribas, has brought together a strong, young team of dedicated professionals. Apart from a university degree in language education and at least five-years hands-on experience, all teachers employed by Olé share a love for teaching and are always approachable for any questions students may have.
